Karwaan: The Heritage Exploration Initiative in collaboration with Café Karvaan presents Karwaan Baithak: Colonial Subjugation of India on Wednesday, 12th April 2023 at 5 PM IST at Cafe Karvaan, Delhi. Prof. Amar Farooqui (Author and Historian) will be in a conversation with Eshan Sharma (Founder, Karwaan Heritage) on Prof. Farooqui’s recent publication, ‘Colonial Subjugation of India’. Eminent historian Amar Farooqui tells the story of the formation of the British Empire in India and presents a minutely detailed narrative of the violence inflicted on the people of this part of the world to conquer it, and the instruments of coercion that were put in place to rule over it.
